A FAMILY AFFAIR
Dale Hollow Winery started with a story about a family that has lived in the quaint Missouri community of Stover for multiple generations. Asher and Jesse Dale, with their wives Ana and Katy, dreamed up the idea in 2012 and planted their first grapes in the spring of 2013. The tasting room was opened to the public in 2016. The brothers’ parents, Kenny and Beth Dale, are also involved in all aspects of the process making it a true family affair.
“Our mission is to have a place to be enjoyed with family and friends; sharing fine wine and good times in the community we love. Dale Hollow captures a bit of nature, some imagination, and a story that is still in the early chapters.”
MERCHANDISE
VINE TO WINE
Quality wine starts in the vineyard. We plant, prune, train, and harvest over 3,000 vines by hand. Vineyard and cellar management are year-round processes but this is what it takes for quality and consistency, and we are passionate about making good wine. Follow this button to see pictures and videos of the grapes in our vineyards!
We currently grow the following varietals on our 15 acres of vineyards:
RED GRAPES
Norton
Chambourcin
St. Vincent
Concord
WHITE GRAPES
Vignoles
Cayuga White
BLUSH STYLE
Catawba
